In keeping with ADRA Network’s Change Goal #2, ADRA SA has developed and positioned the country office for ‘greater capacity to prevent, mitigate and respond to humanitarian emergencies; i.e., programming for greater resilience of people and communities vulnerable to conflict an natural disasters, including forced migration or internal displacement of people and the impact of climate-related weather events.
ADRA SA has a Country Office Board and ADRA Regional Office approved NEMP strategy with three initial response menus for activation, namely (a) food menu, (b) utensils , and (c) WASH hits menu. Our NEMP strategy has been organized into a continuum of initial response, recovery, and Disaster Risk Reduction for future disasters mitigation.
